Public, Private, and Special Groups

This page is for schools (public, private, etc.) and special groups that are interested in enrolling students in music and/or visual art lessons, or to request a performance, demonstration, or workshop presentation by a touring/presenting teaching artist. 

Lessons taught are music theory, voice, piano, guitar, violin, rhythm, and visual arts (multi-medium). Under the discipline of music, participants will learn music fundamentals needed to read, write, play, and present music based on the selected instrument to which they are enrolled.  The visual arts discipline teaches fundamental techniques of drawing/sketching (graphite, colored pencil, and charcoal), painting (watercolor, acrylic, and ink), and constructing or sculpting musical instruments or figurines. 

The general rate based on one-half hour sessions is reserved for private (one-on-one) sessions and is $155.00 per month (1x per week), per student. The generated group rate for one-hour sessions is $310.00 per month (1x per week), per student. At this time, the minimum number of students required to constitute a group rate is 4, and the maximum allowable students in one given session is 8.  Please note, as a basis of learning and to better understand the instruments of voice, piano, guitar, ukulele, violin, cello, flute, and trumpet, students will be taught the fundamental elements of music theory and the instruments. 

Session Schedule: 

Monday: Voice/Singing                                                                                                                                                                                               10-11am (grades 5th-8th) , 11:15 am-12:15 pm (grades K-4th) and 2:30 - 3:30pm (grades 9th-12th).

Wednesday: Guitar                                                                                                                                                                                                      10-11am for grades 5th-8th, 11:15 am-12:15 pm for grades K-4th and 2:30 - 3:30pm for grades 9th-12th.

Thursdays: Visual Arts                                                                                                                                                                                                10-11am for grades 5th-8th, 11:15 am-12:15 pm for grades K-4th and 2:30 - 3:30pm for grades 9th-12th.

All sessions (group and registrations are arranged by appointment only. Also, schedules are subject to change without notice.
